Carmen Rivas

Baseball Hitting, Pitching, Catching, and Fielding

Carmen grew up starring on the diamonds of Pueblo, and later was a starter at the University of Southern Colorado.

His coaching career started as an assistant baseball coach at Boulder Fairview High School. Carmen’s first head coaching job was at Regis High School. He then moved to Centaurus High School and won six league titles in seven years as the Warriors head coach. Carmen then spent two years coaching at the collegiate level at the University of Northern Colorado where he was the pitching coach and recruiting coordinator. He returned to Monarch High School as the head baseball coach leading them to three Front Range League titles in 6 years as well as two Legion A state titles. Carmen has coached 2 years with the Cherry Creek Connie Mack.

Carmen has helped numerous collegiate players achieve success including Curt Borland at UNC and with the Red Sox, Brian Stelmack at Tulane University, Derek Beauprez at University of Miami, and many others.
